Paul Milton - artistic interests

My Artwork takes many forms as I prefer not to specialise - allowing me to approach most subjects with great ease. My work covers, drawing and painting, textiles, photography, clothing design, bespoke textile wall hangings. I welcome all commissions if you would like to purchase any of the Artwork on my website please feel free to contact me.

With my art and what inspires me can range from a kind couple sitting on a bench in front of me converted into a quick sketch and drawing ... to a quick photograph, or a brilliant composition of music ... to my favourite films; there is a vast world around us - you just have to open your eyes and use your imagination.

I am also a great fan of science fiction as it opens your imagination to a world of possibilities. One of my knitted fashion designs was based on the original science fiction film Predator. I sold this to the fashion house Versace, at the Indigo fashion show in Paris.

Model Railways:

As well as being an artist I love and have a passion for model railways, I specialise in OO gauge I've always had model railways in my house several layouts, I also make dioramas which I exhibit and make to sell.

Again thank you for taking the time to visit my website I wish you all the best.

train

The train pictured is a Hornby R.190 BR 4-6-2 loco Class 7 MT "Britannia" pictured on the Crawley Model Railway Societies 4mm OO gauge wellbridge layout. My late father bought me this train when I was 14/15 Christmas morning. I was sitting in the front room on a red bean bag in front of me was a glass table with the world atlas's poster on it under glass. A box was placed on the glass table I had no idea what it was I carefully opened it to find the Hornby Britannia. I later got coaches to go with it and a brake van as well. I ran it recently at Crawley model railway club/society which really meant a lot! Good memories and emotions attached to this train. Please take a look at Crawley Model Railway Society's website and Facebook page to get involved.
